Rocky Mountain Persians
Persian kittens available, click for details.
We are a small family operated cageless Persian cattery located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. As a Colorado Persian cat breeder we have Persian Cats and Persian kittens available for sale. We produce Persians kittens as part of our hobby of showing Persian cats. We cannot keep every kitten in our pursuit of the perfect kitten for showing, therefore we have Persian kittens available for sale. Our cattery is in our home and is not a business, breeding Persians is our hobby, our passion and favorite pastime. My husband and I do not have children so our cats and kittens are our four legged children. Our cats and kittens are showered with love and attention from birth. For Persians in Colorado visit our available page. Our love is on the beautiful Persian cat, our Persian cattery focus is on bi-color Persians, including calico Persians, solids, parti-colors and tabbies. We also produce a limited number of smokes and bi-color vans.
Welcome to our website, we have developed a Persian cat breeder website that we hope is not only fun, functional but educational. We hope you enjoy your visit and searching for your next Persian cat or kitten. We offer information on how to distinguish between a reputable and responsible Persian cat breeder from a backyard (for profit only) Persian cat breeder. We keep a small number of breeding cats and produce limited litters of kittens each year to ensure that the cats and kittens we produce are of high quality, socially well adjusted and healthy.
Persian Cat Care
In addition to Persian cats and kittens for sale, we offer articles and information about Persian Cat Grooming Tips, to include dematting a Persian cat, degreasing a Persian cat, cat bath preparation and drying your Persian cat, kitten proofing your home, low cost spay and neuter clinics, information about de-clawing your Persian cat and a wealth of information about supplies and cat toys, zoonotic diseases, stages of Persian kitten development to poisonous plants and household toxins. You will also find information about feline problem behavior modification such as feline separation anxiety, litter box issues, facts about euthanasia, coping with pet loss, tips to know if your cat is mourning the loss of another cat as well as our recommendations for great books about Persian cats. As a Colorado Persian cat breeder, we also explain the the differences between traditional dollfaced, flat faced and extreme faced Persian cats. Please enjoy your visit, check out our jokes page and come back often as we are constantly adding information specific to Persian cats and kittens.
Our Persian kittens do not leave our home until they are completely ready to do so. We feel that rushing a Persian kitten out the door before they are ready will do more harm than good. Your new Persian kitten is going to share your life and companionship, we feel that waiting an additional two to three weeks for them to grow will only enhance their development socially making their transition into your home a smooth one. As a responsible Persian cattery, we never release a Persian kitten from our care prior to twelve weeks of age. Not only is this against Colorado State law as mandated by the United States Department of Agriculture, but it is detrimental to the social development of the kitten. When our Persian kittens are completely ready to make the transition, they are well adjusted to the cat carrier and have gone on several car rides to assist them with the travel and transition from our home to yours. All of our Persian kittens will be placed with a spay or neuter contract. If you are looking to buy your next Persian cat or kitten, please visit our available page for complete details.
Our Persian cattery ships Persian kittens within the continental United States. Our airline of preference is Continental Airlines, we have shipped Persian kittens all over the United States to states such as Texas, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Tennessee, Florida, California, Oregon, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, Maryland, Utah, Ohio, Idaho, Washington, Wisconsin and South Dakota. Special thanks to Lisa Thostenson of Jordanalisa Persians. Lisa has been a blessing with our Persian cat ventures, without her help we would not have made it to where we are today. Thanks Lisa for being such a wonderful mentor and friend.
